Sunday PM-Workout part dos
I had told Dan earlier in the day on Sunday that I would more than likely go to the track (which I loathe) and run since he was going to go. After our late lunch, I fell asleep on the sofa, surprise surprise. That happens 99% of the time if I don't stay active after I eat. I felt sooooo groggy and soooo didn't want to go the track but I sucked it up and went with him. I don't know why but my running sucks like none other when I run at the track. I feel like I have ran a mile when it's been less than 1/4 mile. Sooo, I improvised since my legs hurt from my 20 mile bike ride on Friday and my Sunday am workout. I ended up running 1/4 mile then I would stop and do 20 squats, or burpees, or at one of the breaks I did bear crawls for 50 yard, stopped to rest for a second, did another 20 yards, then did walking lunges the remaining 30 yards. Even though I didn't have it in me to get the running in that I had wanted, the workout still felt great. The stairs were not my friend when we got home.
