Monday/Tuesday

Monday-Ran a mile in the heat/humidity. It was only a mile since I did the run pre-workout, but it was still rough due to the thickness of the air. After that I did the upper body Butt Bible disc 2 workout. There were definitely spots where I was wanting the exercise to be done. Good stuff. Can't give in! I did have to go slower than Pauline on a few of the workouts to keep form.

P.S. I absolutely hate the 2 girls they picked to workout with Pauline. The one always has this dumb smile on her face, the other looks like she's barely putting in effort. You would think they would have picked better people to be on there, but maybe they felt they needed more of a normal person to appeal to a wider audience since Pauline could be intimidating to some. Let me know your opinion on them.

Tuesday- Strong and Hotter Workout (Bodyrock.tv)

I had a hard time with the sandbag dragon lunge and row. I don't know if it was just me being uncoordinated or if the combo just doesn't have much fluidity. I definitely lost count of my reps since I was trying to concentrate on getting the move right, which wasn't happening often. The sandbag squats killed my legs by the 3rd set since my legs are pretty sore from the Butt Bible lower body workout from Sunday. Gotta love leg soreness 2 days after a leg workout! So moving onto the last part, which is a combo of jump squats and pushups. On the 8th rep my wall popped up in front of me, but i managed to push through it and got 15 reps in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Zuzana got 3 minutes, 30 something....I feel a long ways off. At least I didn't give in though!

I'm going to bed. I can barely see the screen to type. I'm so tired. Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Get those self destructive thoughts out of that head of yours!

Oh, on a side note, I bought the new Oxygen the other day and figured I would share the "exhale" page. So true in so many ways.

I bought the same magazine :) Very true.

I'm doing better now. My workouts are kicking my ass. Literally, I feel exhausted and just want to veg out. Also my butt and hamstrings are sore sore sore. Which I like. I've also spent my time reevaluating what I'm eating. I'm making my portions smaller and stopped being lazy about cooking.

Seriously I wished we lived closer to each other. I think we'd push each other a lot more. And be able to have healthy meals together. I'm making a buckwheat & quinoa salad with cilantro, organic tomatoes, homemade black beans, olive oil and maybe some dill weed. Yum

Ps. I think you're doing amazing with your workouts. I'll check out that video when I get on the computer.
