Saturday-10 mile bike ride (workout will be later)

Dan got up and ran 16 miles this morning, which consisted of 11 miles from our house to Lunken Airport (small private jets) then ran around the trail at Lunken once, which is another 5 miles. This is one of the trails that I go to often to ride my bike. Tim picked me up this morning at 8:30 and we headed over to the trail to ride 10 miles while Dan finished up his lap. It was a good ride. Tons of people were out running this morning, which is surprising since it was so humid. The dew point was 68, which was pretty rough. With it being early in the am my allergies were kicking, per usual but at least I wore my sunglasses this time to avoid watery eyes the entire time and I didn't have to deal with a bug landing in my eye every minute. It was a great start to the day. When we got home I made smoothies for everyone. Tim and I had the Mocha Muscle smoothie, which was delish. I added some almonds to it this time. Tim was pretty stoked about it's tastiness :) Since Dan is a baby and refuses to even try the Mocha Muscle smoothie (because it has a little bit of coffee in it), I made him the island refresher (w/out coconut). He loved it.
We are the Smoothie Queens!!

Dan went with me to do more bike shopping today. I think I'm going to end up getting a Felt F95. By the time we made our rounds to the other bike shops and had lunch with Bob, the shop that sells it was closed. They are also closed on Sunday so I'll have to get out of work at a good time on Monday and go purchase it. Yay! This is a pic of it. I wanted something more plain, and something set up specifically for women would be nice, but they for the most part all have pink or some sort of pastelish blue or green on them. I can't take it so per usual, I will have a men's bike.

We were exhausted after all of the running around and just woke up from an hour and a half long nap. My head feels super foggy,  as it does every morning when I wake up. We are going to have our usual exciting Saturday night and go get groceries! YAY! I need to get a workout in later tonight since I had time off earlier in the week.

that bike looks really sweet. I've been wanting a bike for over a year now, but unfortunately that hasn't happened yet. I'm happy you're getting one that'll fit you and you'll enjoy your rides more. That's what's important =)

Yay for the smoothes! I tried the Island on and it's sooooo good. Steve's been trying some of mine and he loves them. He's also a huge fan of the ninja too =) I need to get into looking for more shake recipes for us. I've been slacking over here.

Ps. I think you're going to get those two lower abs to pop out before you know it. i think by this time next year I'll be where you are. You're a foxy minx =) xo
