first Ninja experience

Since red raspberries were on sale for 10/10 this week, I stocked up, which was perfect since I purchased the Ninja earlier in the week. I went to the gym this morning, which was weird since I haven't been there in I don't know how long since I'm doing at home workouts. My post gym smoothie is pretty freakin good. I'm a little disappointed that there are some bigger chunks of almond still in it, but overall it's awesome and I'm stoked to not have to fight with the blender to chop up ice anymore. Ice in the blender usually puts me in a bad mood because it's such a long ordeal and by the end, it smells like the blender motor is burning. It's not even a cheap blender. WTF? Any who, the smoothie consisted of:
Red raspberries, almonds, dark chocolate almond milk, water, ice, and a scoop of Dymatize elite gourmet  chocolate whey protein powder. Good stuff. Now on with the day.

P.S. On my way to the gym I ended up witnessing an old man turning into the Liquor City parking lot (@9am), failing to pay attention, and ran into a cyclist. I could maybe understand if Route 8 (which we were on) didn't always have multiple cyclists on it all day.  I could have kept going on with my day but figured ya know, of all the times I have been involved in an accident, I always wished someone would have stopped just in case I needed a witness. The guy was OK but we decided to call the cops anyways considering his carbon fiber road bike ended up half under the car. His wheel was definitely toast. Bum out. I felt bad for him. I'm sure he was out for an all day ride and some stupid old guy had to ruin it.

Your shake looks really good. <3Ninja<3 I think I've had about 2 shakes a day since I bought mine. Hints my lack of actual food ha. I'm going to try this shake and the one you sent me =)

I also really proud of you for looking out for the cyclist. That effing sucks, i have always feared someone running me over when I use to ride to work in Cali. There were a couple close calls and a few choice of words. But you did good Jen =) How did your dogs like the lake?
