mon-thursday....catching up, again.

I'm blaming my blog slacking on Dan being home some nights this week.
So I took the day off last Sunday because I got sunburned at the pool and I felt kinda crappy. Monday, felt crappy in general, figured I had better let my body rest. I'm sure the fact that it was insanely hot and humid here early in the week wasn't helping the situation. I also gave into getting pizza for dinner, which was a huge mistake.

Tuesday: Did the Butt Bible disc one lower body workout, which as you know, I was pretty stoked about, but sadly disappointed. You already know why so I'll spare you the details.

Wednesday:Did the "teenage dream workout" for the 2nd time. The first time I did this one was on 7/6 and my time was 15:08 for part 1. Last night it was 11.55!!! I knew I was doing better with the workout but I'm pretty stoked at how much I improved my time. I even beat Zuzana's time which was 13 something. Part 2 kicked my ass, again....but it was the good kind of ass kicking.

Tonight I went on a 10 mile bike ride. I didn't leave the house until almost 8pm so I only got in 10 miles before it was getting too dark to go around the trail again. My butt didn't hurt this time, but it was probably my least favorite ride so far this summer due to the amount of bugs that flew in my eyes, which then made them water. My nose kept running thanks to my allergies going nuts from them cutting the grass, and on the last mile my foot decided it would be fun to cramp. FYI, foot cramps can put me on the verge of tears if they last long enough. By the time I got home I was starving so I'm eating my salad as I type this. I originally planned on doing a quick workout in addition to the ride since it was only 10 miles, but I don't think my food will stay down if I do. I don't know of one BodyRock.Tv workout that doesn't consist of jumping around. I think I'll check out the 2nd disc of the Butt Bible and call it a night.

I'm so happy that tomorrow is Friday.  This has been such a hectic week at work. Tons of meetings. The company picnic is tomorrow which means we only work a half day. I should go, but I really really don't want to. I may just leave work early and go to the pool if it's nice out (shame on me). That sounds so much better to me than driving 20 minutes each direction to go to the picnic just to make an appearance then leave.

CONGRATS on the awesome timing! I'm so happy for you =) Also don't worry about off weeks it happens to the best of us and look at you. You kicked it right in the ass and proved to yourself you can push yourself hard. I'm impressed =) btw I'd skip the picnic too. I don't understand that you spend 40 plus hours a week with people and then have a picnic ummm i'd rather have free time ha.
