Seriously-I am way too sore from my first workout (from yesterday) after taking way too much time off. This is total horseshit. I'm pretty sure I tell myself every time that long breaks are a bad idea. My arms are toast today. I couldn't even do the side to side knee raises on the dip station today due to lack of shoulder/tricep strength.
*12/25-Christmyth workout-Dan's circuit (just shorter)
5 rounds:
-Pullups (x5) I could only do for real pullups the first round then had to do reverse pullups on the dip station)
-Dips (x10) Dan does real dips on the dip station, I can only do maybe 3 so i did tricep dips on the side of the table, which still killed by the end of the 5 rounds)
-Pushups (x15) I only did real push ups the first 2 rounds then had to do them from my knees, and you guessed it, struggled by mid workout.
-Squats (x20) At least something didn't kill me, although that leads me to believe I should have been going lower.
*12/26-Modified Teenage Dream workout (because my arms are beat from yesterday's workout)
5 rounds:
-Side to side lunges w/sandbag (x10)
-Sandbag situps (x10)
-Rolling knee tuck w/ push up (x5)
-Diagonal knee raises (x10)-uh yeah right. I modified this and did 1 round of doing them the proper way then did V-ups on the dip station for the other 4 rounds.
-I opted for no pendulums or knee raises for the last 4 minutes. Instead I did some ab exercises and stretched my shoulders and triceps more than usual.
I know I can get my mojo back after a week of being consistent but I feel like a beginner and it pisses me off. No more lazy bones.
